SONG MEANING

I think everyone can relate to this song, the moment they reach at the end of their life or when they want to get away to start their new life to be someone better. At that moment, this song can be good dedication to their loved ones. :)

The song starts with the writer dreamed he was gone. No one else cared other than one person. I have no idea about that one person, it could be someone special, loved one or best friend. After the dreaming, he woke up with the same feeling and thinking there's nothing he could leave for that special one to remember him after he's gone.

Throughout the chorus, the writer wants to be remembered for the person he means to his special one; despite the things that were done and could have been done.

The second verse continues as he confess of things he have done. He have paid for those things that he have caused and have taken responsibility for those things. He admit he is not perfect and others too, are not perfect as well and everyone have done mistakes.

This song taught me, all the hurts that we have, we should not ignore it, instead we should learn from it and keep moving on with life. We should not hope for something or someone would come and save us from our self or our circumstances, we should save our self. The last line reminds us that not everyone can be expected to be the same with the rest of people.

We're explorers in space, just like when we go on tour. We're leaving our home life behind, and I guess it kind of ties into 'Leave Out All the Rest', in that we have to leave things behind in order to do something better. - Joe Hahn

LYRICS

I dreamed I was missing
You were so scared
But no one would listen
Cause no one else cared
After my dreaming
I woke with this fear
What am I leaving
When I'm done here

So if you're asking me
I want you to know

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
Don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory

Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest

Don't be afraid
I've taken my beating
I've shared what I made
I'm strong on the surface
Not all the way through
I've never been perfect
But neither have you

So if you're asking me
I want you to know

Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You've learned to hide so well

Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are

Max Payne

I thought "Max Payne" supposed to be about angels. It turns out not about angels at all, LOL. It's about detective, mystery and all of that kind. There was shootings but not much (I heard the games are about shooting) and not much actions either. However, the visual effects are cool. Most probably that's the reason that made this movie look interesting.

I have not played "Max Payne" games before. Not everyone that loves the game loves the movie as well. I read the plot of the game and found it's almost the same with the storyline of the movie, there are differences but not much. There are sequel to the game called "Max Payne 2 (The Fall of Max Payne)." Maybe they will attempt to make sequel for the movie too, no confirmation about that one.

I was fan of detective stories when I was young. I used to read comics and novels about detective, mystery and all of that kind. So, I'm quite glad that I went for this movie because it brought me back to things I loved about during those days. =D

The Devil is building his army. Max Payne is looking for something that God wants to stay hidden. That is what makes him more dangerous. - Lincoln DeNeuf

Eagle Eye

When I saw the trailer, I was not interested. Then I came across an article on the newspaper mentioning it's good movie to watch. I viewed some reviews on the Internet and most of them are positive. So, I had myself convinced to go for it.

The movie turns out to be worth watching and I should not have judged it based on the trailer. There are plenty of awesome action scenes, though most of them reminded me of "Die Hard 4." Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan were great, with some humors too. The coolest thing about "Eagle Eye," it's fast and exciting from the start until the end.

The concept of "Eagle Eye" is quite interesting. Steven Spielberg brought his imagination into the future high developed technology. It's the time when technology and computers are able to control the world and track every moves of every human. It might not happen in real life yet it's good concept for fictional action movie.

While watching "Eagle Eye," I felt like I am watching summer movie. =)

Jerry: The only things I can think of that have timers are microwaves and...
Rachel: Bombs? You were gonna say bombs!
Jerry: Coffee machines have timers...
Rachel: Yes, Jerry, it's a coffee machine.
